I have been on the Board of Trustees since March 2007. My past employment includes teaching at local schools and a sole charge teaching Principal at Mata School on the East Coast and Manawahe School here in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. I have been with my partner for over 20 years and we have three children, two who attend Matata Public School and the youngest, still a pre schooler has just started with the correspondence school early childhood programme. I am a keen gardener and my home garden is now over 2 acres and has been planted in natives and is just waiting to grow (no instant makeovers here)! I love art and attend classes on Mondays and am also a modern knitter. As a family we enjoy getting outdoors and exploring. My vision for the future is to produce plenty of delicious food from my garden and sustain a healthy lifestyle for myself and my family.
